Vision Zero
BMAC Community joined Singapore’s Vision Zero Movement that was launched by PM Lee in 2015. The Community strives to go beyond zero harm and cultivate safety culture in our organizations and business partners for collective ownership of safety and health, so that everyone can go return HOME safe and healthily at the end of each workday.
To spearhead this movement within the Community, a new Safety + Health Workstream was established. Members of the workstream came together to define the attributes of BMAC’s Vision Zero initiative. In early 2026, the workstream decided that environmental protection is equally important as workplace safety and health. Henceforth, the workstream was renamed as Environment, Health and Safety Workstream to also focus on improving compliance with local requirements.
