Being a Green Mark certified plant, we continually find new ways to conduct our business in an environmentally conscious way. We are working towards reducing our absolute Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, increasing energy efficiency in our processes, implementing greater water stewardship management practices, and reducing our waste impact in our facility.
Over the years, we have won numerous awards for our recycling efforts including the Singapore Packaging Agreement Awards by the National Environmental Agency from 2015 to 2018 for our efforts to reduce the amount of packaging materials used.
We are continually improving our manufacturing practices to increase our powder production while using less energy and ensuring quality products.

Abbott recognizes that water is a critical natural resource essential to sustaining life, human health, economic growth, and ecosystems. Abbott is committed to managing our water use efficiently and responsibly wherever we work to minimize our impact on local resources.
Our approach is four-fold: improve water efficiency, manage water discharges, apply key water-management practices companywide, and educate our employees and suppliers about the importance of responsible water use.
As part of our 2030 Sustainability Plan, we are committed to achieve water stewardship certification at all high-water-impact manufacturing sites in water-stressed areas, which includes the Singapore Nutrition Manufacturing Facility.
